Every DCA board and bureau sunsets January 1 on a 4-year rotation. The sunset bill is often the only vehicle that can move that board's practice-act changes for the year — miss the review and wait four years. Know the date, the bill, and your window.
Timeline
The 1/1/2028 cohort is the live review window — sunset reports are due fall/winter 2026, with joint oversight hearings in March 2027.

Review dates and bills verified against Senate Business, Professions & Economic Development and Assembly Business and Professions committee publications. Hearing dates are approximate — committees typically announce the schedule in January of the review year.
