Audit Trail

Every document Goldie drafts, versioned. Who wrote it, what changed, when β€” and who signed off. Each entry is chained to the last with a SHA-256 hash, so anything altered after the fact breaks the chain detectably.

How the trail works

Log a version below β€” or hit πŸ“₯ Log to audit trail in the Drafting Studio right after generating a draft. Then send for review and approve: your sign-off is recorded as a chained event with your name and timestamp, never an editable field. Verify chain re-checks every hash; Export builds the .docx audit report for your compliance files. Tamper-evident, not tamper-proof β€” see the guide (and its limits: browser-local in v1).

Integrity

Verify & export

Re-check every hash in the chain, export the audit report as a .docx for your compliance files, or erase the trail entirely.

Deletion is permanent and breaks the chain for any copies you didn't export. Export first.

Ask Goldie about the audit trail β†’

The audit trail is a working record of what you drafted and approved. It is not legal advice, not a certified record, and not a substitute for FPPC/SOS filings β€” export it and keep it with your five-year records (Gov. Code Β§81004).
